    What is Meant by Odd One Out?

    “Odd One Out” refers to objects or elements in a group that are completely different from all the other objects or elements of the group.
    For example: Parrot, Pigeon, Dog, Owl: “Dog” is an odd one out here as all the other elements in the groups are birds, whereas, dog is an animal.

    To identify an odd one easily, think about each word given and try to find out which one stands out and why?

    → pen, phone, tab, laptop: Pen is an odd one out because all the other items are electronics.

    → cricket, badminton, hockey, singing: Singing is an odd one out because all the other items are sports, whereas, singing is a talent.
    → apple, banana, orange, cabbage: Cabbage is odd because all the other items are fruits, whereas cabbage is a vegetable.
