Class 11 uses the seven-topic Mental Maths Olympiad syllabus for class 11 that began in Class 9: Number System, Algebra, Comparing Quantities, Geometry, Mensuration, Playing with Numbers and Data Handling.

This is the third year on the same list, and CREST's study material for it has not changed either. There, Number System is integers and rational numbers plus simplification, Algebra is about polynomials and solving quadratics, and Playing with Numbers takes in series of numbers and of letters, divisibility tests, exponents and factorising.

Expect 100 MCQs inside an hour with 120 marks in total, one mark for each of the 80 Basique questions and two for each of the 20 Avance questions. Level 2 repeats that layout with zero penalty for errors.

Medal winners also get a Merit Certificate, and so does anyone in the top 25%. A digital certificate of Honourable Mention is given to those ranked in the 25-50% band.
