Mental Maths Olympiad Book for Senior KG

The Senior KG Mental Maths book will follow the eight playful sections of the Senior KG syllabus for the CREST Mental Maths Olympiad (CMMO): Number Magic and Counting Quest, Addition Adventures, Subtraction Secrets, Pattern Play and Number Trails, Number Showdown, Number Bonds and Relationships, Time Travelers and Shape Safari.

At this age the work stays small and hands-on. Counting and adding stay within 10, subtraction never goes below zero, skip counting in 2s and 5s goes up to 20, and children meet the >, < and = signs, the days of the week, and pairs that make 5 and 10.

The book is meant for Senior KG children working beside a parent or teacher. The exam itself is parent/teacher-assisted: a grown-up may explain what each question is asking, and the child chooses the answer.
