English Olympiad Book for Junior KG

Junior KG is where letters start turning into words, and the Junior KG English book will follow the CREST English Olympiad (CEO) syllabus for this step. Its eight headings are Letters (the alphabet, consonants and vowels), Word Building with two-letter words, Vowel Sounds including the magic 'e', Pronouns and Articles (this and that, he and she, a and an), Action Words, Sight Words, Prepositions such as under, behind and in front of, and Opposites like smooth and rough or near and far.

Achievers Section questions are Higher Order Thinking Questions on those same headings.

The book suits four- and five-year-olds, used together with a parent or teacher. In the exam, too, an adult may read the questions out and help with what is being asked, while the answer comes from the child.
