English Olympiad Book for Nursery

This English book for Nursery will cover the six topic groups of the CREST English Olympiad (CEO) Nursery syllabus:

1. Letters and Sounds: capital letters A to Z, small letters a to z, and letter sounds
2. Everyday Actions such as play, clap, brush, hop and wave
3. Feelings, from happy and sad to sleepy and thirsty
4. Colours
5. Around the Home: utensils and food, toys and books, furniture and rooms
6. Opposites like hot and cold, wet and dry, on and off

The Achievers Section asks Higher Order Thinking Questions on the same groups. Spellings and meanings follow the Oxford Learner's Dictionary.

It is written for three- and four-year-olds learning with a grown-up. In the Nursery exam a parent or teacher reads out and explains each question, and the child chooses the answer.
