Science Olympiad Book for Junior KG

For Junior KG, the Science book will cover the seven units of the CREST Science Olympiad (CSO) syllabus. Me and My Surroundings deals with family, body parts, cleanliness, feelings and polite words. Plants Around Us introduces plant parts, fruits and vegetables. Animals Around Us sorts domestic, wild and water animals, baby animals and birds. Community Helpers names the doctor, teacher, farmer, carpenter and traffic police. The other units are Modes of Travel, Weather (sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy) and Seasons, with seasonal clothes and food.

The Achievers Section returns to these same units with Higher Order Thinking Questions.

Children aged 4 to 5 will use it with a parent or teacher. The Junior KG exam is parent/teacher-assisted as well: help your child understand the question, then let them choose.
