Hello, little explorers! Welcome to an exciting journey where we learn how to protect our underwater friends from harm. Today, we'll dive into the magical world of the ocean and discover ways to keep our marine buddies safe.

Captain Fin, a wise old dolphin, and Coral, a friendly clownfish, live in the colourful coral reefs. They love playing hide and seek among the vibrant corals and swimming with their pals.

One day, Captain Fin and Coral noticed something strange happening in their home. The water wasn't as clean as before, and some friends seemed sad. So, they decided to get their underwater buddies for a meeting to find out what was going on.

Captain Fin and Coral were worried because the ocean wasn't as clean, and their friends were feeling a bit unhappy. Let's find out what was causing this problem.

As the underwater friends gathered, they discovered that plastic bottles, bags, and other litter were floating in their home. Captain Fin explained, "This pollution can make our friends sick. It's not good for the ocean. We need to help clean up!"

Kids, can you tell how we can keep the ocean clean?

"We can start by not littering and picking up trash whenever we see it. Captain Fin and Coral led the way, organising a fun cleanup day for everyone to join."

Next on the agenda was overfishing. Sammy the seahorse shared, "Some of our fishy friends are being caught too much, and we need to help them!"

Exactly! We can ask grown-ups to choose eco-friendly seafood and not catch too many fish. This way, our underwater friends can swim freely without worrying about getting caught.

Coral the clownfish chimed in, "Our coral homes are getting crowded. It's getting too hot!"

Kids, can you tell why the ocean is getting hotter?

Sammy said, "The ocean is getting hotter because of something called climate change. We can help by using less energy, like turning off lights when we're not using them and using less hot water."

The underwater friends put their heads together to find a magical solution. They discovered that planting more seaweed could help absorb extra bad air, and carbon dioxide and keep the ocean cooler.

Well done! We can encourage our grown-up friends to plant more trees on land because they also help absorb carbon dioxide. That way, we're helping both the land and the ocean!

As the meeting ended, Captain Fin and Coral thanked everyone for their fantastic ideas. Together, they promised to keep their ocean home clean, protect their fishy friends, and take care of the coral reefs.

Whether it's picking up trash, choosing sustainable seafood, or using less energy, every small action makes a big difference.
