How to Spell Repetition

Syllables: rep - e - ti - tion

Tricky part: Repeat has ea, but repetition drops the a. Students write repeatition, or repitition with the wrong middle vowel.

Memory tip: Say rep-e-ti-tion in four beats. The vowels go e, e, then i, i: two e's and then two i's before the on.
