What's one or two achievements that you are proud of?
Got selected in Interschool level Cubs Cricket in Grade 1. This was Interschool level cricket competition in Dubai and Northern Emirates. And my team came out as winners. Also, I was selected for Exquisite Minds Program in grade 2. This program gives an opportunity to create and demonstrate any research activity in school. I had an opportunity to demonstrate the work of Lion Lights invented by Richard Turere.
What is your biggest fear and how do you overcome it?
While walking on the road, I fear of moving vehicles. I overcome my fear by being extra cautious and being observant while walking on the road.
Who is your ideal and why?
My father. Because he always has a way out in any difficult situation. He has been guiding me in different ways to face difficulties in life and inspires me to give my best at everything that I do.
Which public figure (sportsperson, actor, etc.) inspires you the most?
Rohit Sharma. I like the way he plays cricket, consistent and calm. He has a stable composition while playing cricket.
Who or what keeps you motivated?
My mother. She motivates me to participate in competitions and guides me to be a part of different varieties of programs. She is always available to teach me, guide me and share my experiences with respect to the competitions that I participate.
Have you thought of your career line? What do you want to become and why?
Yes, I have always wanted to be a Scientist. So that I invent new inventions and gadgets that will ease the day to day life of Humans. My future plan is to invent flying cars that will help highly traffic oriented cities to ease their travel time.
If there is one gift you would like to have, what would that be?
EV 3 and Lego we do 2 and 3
Your favourite memory that you would like to share?
My first field trip from school. We had a field to trip to Dolphinarium in Dubai. It was an amazing and thrilling moment to watch the cute dolphins perform their tricks.
What's one thing about you that your friends don't know?
There is no such thing as such about me which I believe my friends are not aware of. My school friends know my nature. And my neighbour friends know about my family.
What is your secret of making friends?
I am very straight and enjoy talking to people. I love making new friends hence do not hesitate to talk to new pupil of my age. That helps me to make new friends.
What are your hobbies? How do you keep a balance between your hobbies and studies?
Playing Football, reading story books. I dedicate some time everyday for my football game and some time for reading story books, hence accordingly manage my studies. My parents support me by setting up Time Table for day to day activities which helps me in dedicating time for my hobbies along with my studies.
Which is your favourite sport? When did you start practicing and why?
Cricket and Football. I started playing cricket since I was 4 year old and started football when I got 6 years old. Initially I started playing these games to keep myself entertained and I enjoyed playing them. Playing football has now become my passion.
What do you love to do the most in your free time?
Play Football and Read story books. I love to read books for knowledge, entertainment and to improve my reading vocabulary. I am a fan of The Diary Of Wimpy Kid series.
What are your study tips for getting better grades in school examinations?
Read your books everyday, and most importantly be observant and concentrate during class hours when the teachers are taking classes. Understand the concept and try to correlate your class lessons in your every day activities and relate them with things around you. Also revise the lessons at home to register them well in your mind.
How do you prepare for Olympiads?
I do mock tests from the Olympiads site. I work out the Saturday mock tests every week. I take AQAD - Asset Question A Day every day to enhance my knowledge of applying the concepts. Also study and understand my daily class lessons to be able to prepare well for the Olympiads.
How has appearing for Olympiad exams helped your studies?
It has motivated me to read more books in addition to my school books like GK books, and it has helped me to focus more on my subjects and understand the concepts well. Every week I look forward to the Saturday mock tests and eager to solve and be one of the achievers.
Do you have any advice or tips for students who are interested in appearing for Olympiads?
Yes. Believe in yourself, be confident and prepare well by reading everyday. Hard work always leads to success.
