How do you spell calendar?

Syllables: cal - en - dar

Tricky part: The end sounds like der, but it is spelt dar. Calender, with er, is a different word: a machine that presses cloth or paper.

Watch out for: calander, calendur, kalendar

Memory tip: A calendar is full of days, and its last part, dar, begins with the same d-a as day.
