Tricky part: There is only one h, between the two o's: al-co-hol. Students add an h after the c because of words like school.

Watch out for: alchoholic, alcoholik, alcohalic

Memory tip: Find alcohol inside it, then add ic. Say al-co-HOL slowly: the h starts the third beat, nowhere else.
