  • International Junior Science Olympiad (Germany)

The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is an annual science competition for students aged 15 and under. The competition is divided down into three tests, each test lasting between three to four hours. There are two portions, the theoretical portion consists of two tests: a multiple-choice questionnaire consisting of 30 questions and the practical portion consists of three laboratory examinations, one for each field.

The objective of IJSO is to promote interest in science among school students, exposing them to critical thinking and problem-solving. An interesting and interactive process in which a learner is actually able to put his/her skills, memory, talent and knowledge to the test.
