Practice Questions — Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be a registered CREST Olympiads student to create questions, earn Practice Points, and post comments. Guests may answer questions but do not earn points.

2. Original Content Only

All questions you submit must be your own original creation. You must not copy or reproduce questions from:

CREST Olympiad exams, practice papers, or workbooks
Any other exam body, textbook, or published resource
Other students' previously submitted questions

By checking the declaration box, you confirm the question is entirely your own work.

3. Content Guidelines

Questions must be:

Related to the selected subject and appropriate for the grade level
Written in clear, understandable language
Free from offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
Free from personal information (phone numbers, addresses, social media handles)
Factually accurate with a verifiable correct answer

CREST Olympiads reserves the right to remove any question that violates these guidelines without notice.

4. Practice Points

Practice Points are earned through eligible actions (creating questions, answering, receiving answers, quality bonuses, referrals).
Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Points may be redeemed as a discount toward Additional Practice purchases on the CREST platform (1 point = ₹1).
CREST Olympiads may modify the points structure, earning rates, or redemption value at any time.
Points earned through fraudulent activity (spam questions, self-answering via multiple accounts, manipulation) will be revoked, and accounts may be suspended.

5. Moderation & Removal

Any user may report a question as inappropriate.
Flagged questions are reviewed and may be removed at CREST Olympiads' sole discretion.
Repeated violations may result in loss of question-creation privileges or account suspension.
CREST Olympiads is not responsible for the accuracy of student-submitted questions or explanations.

6. Licence & Co-Ownership

By submitting a question, you agree to co-ownership of the content with CREST Olympiads. CREST Olympiads shall have the unrestricted right to use, display, distribute, modify, and commercialise the submitted content for any educational or commercial purpose, without requiring further consent or compensation.

7. No Warranty

Questions are created by students and are not verified by CREST Olympiads. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, quality, or suitability of any question. Use them as supplementary practice only.

8. Discontinuation

CREST Olympiads may discontinue the Practice Questions feature, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice. Upon discontinuation, any unredeemed Practice Points will stand forfeited. Submitted questions may continue to be used by CREST Olympiads as per the co-ownership terms above.

9. Changes

CREST Olympiads may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Practice Questions feature constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
