What is an Occupation?

An occupation is a type of work or job people do to earn money. It is how people make a living and support themselves and their families. Different occupations involve doing various tasks or activities.

Different People Make Different Things

a) A carpenter is someone who uses wood to make things like furniture.
b) A farmer is someone who grows the food we eat.
c) A cobbler is a person who makes and fixes shoes.
d) A potter is someone who creates pots and other objects from clay.
e) A blacksmith is a person who shapes and creates things using iron.
f) A tailor is someone who sews and makes clothes.

Different People Sell Different Things
