Green Ambassadors are working on various initiatives to promote awareness about UN SDGs and green initiatives, and work on small or big initiatives to make a difference to Mother Earth. This page is to recognize volunteers who are actively engaged.

CREST Olympiads would recognize efforts of these volunteers every 6 months based on their contribution. Next list will be declared in Jun 2024.

Dr.D NagaSai Sudha

Dr. Sudha Dontharaju is an outstanding and accomplished individual who has significantly contributed to education and sustainability. Her transition from IT to primary education showcases her adaptability and commitment to making a difference. Her dedication to Mathematics and academic success is commendable. She developed a learning app for underprivileged students during the pandemic, earning recognition and awards. She is involved in many sustainability initiatives like Earth Prize, Green Volunteer, and Hexagonal Plantation. The projects have the dual purpose of enhancing crop productivity and increasing student awareness through surveys on sustainable topics. Her commitment to sustainability is demonstrated through her eco-friendly lifestyle choices at home, including the use of an e-bike, LED lights, and solar panels. Her "Bright Fridays" initiative, which connects students with nature while saving energy, demonstrates her commitment to holistic education. Additionally, she contributed to blogs on sustainable futures and encouraged students to participate in meetings, showing her dedication to raising awareness and driving sustainability efforts. This is exemplified through her collaboration with the Green Warrior Initiative on Green Warrior Initiative. Dr. Sudha's comprehensive approach to education and sustainability serves as a remarkable example of how one person's passion and dedication can generate a ripple effect, inspiring positive change within the community.

Dr. Monalisha Tyagi

Dr. Monalisha Tyagi's initiative to promote sustainability within her school is commendable. She is implementing initiatives to reduce the school's environmental impact. This involves stopping the use of plastic bags and initiating the 'ISSUE WITH TISSUE' survey to pinpoint and tackle areas in need of improvement. Ceasing the use of tissues, following the findings of the survey, showcases a proactive step towards minimizing daily waste generation. It reflects a commitment to reducing unnecessary consumption and promoting eco-friendly practices within the school community. Dr. Tyagi is committed to the cause of environmental conservation. Her efforts are in sync with the larger goal of preserving the environment for future generations. She has collaborated with the International Green Warrior initiative and encouraged students to participate in meetings. This demonstrates her dedication to raising awareness and driving sustainability efforts forward.

Shrutilekha Roy

Shrutilekha Roy is an Assistant Geography teacher at Lions Calcutta (Greater) Vidya Mandir. It is truly admirable to promote environmental awareness among students. Her dynamic participation in the International Green Warrior Initiative truly showcases her unwavering dedication to providing a platform for students to showcase their talents by participating in weekly meetings, Messages, and Blogs and advocating for important environmental and social causes. She plays a critical role in shaping responsible and environmentally conscious individuals who truly value nature by engaging students in activities such as tree planting, proper waste management, maintaining cleanliness, reusing waste materials, promoting values education, and conducting nature-related quizzes. Her dedication to fostering sustainable practices and instilling a sense of responsibility in students is essential in shaping a generation that values and protects the environment.

Dr. Namita Vadhavkar

Dr. Namita Vadhavkar is a pediatric occupational therapist. She is committed to integrating eco-friendly initiatives into her work, particularly given the critical importance of prioritizing children with developmental needs. In addition, her presentations have a comprehensive focus on spreading awareness about green Earth. She aims to educate children, schools, parents, and the Platform International Green Warrior Initiative.

Rohit Arora

Rohit Kumar Arora from Vidya School, Gurugram working as a teacher since 2021. Despite teaching experience, he is a professional career counsellor, counselling psychologist and a spiritual person who loves to have harmony with nature and is willing to save the environment in different ways along with society and students. He is an active participant in the International Green Warrior Initiative. As an active participant in the International Green Warrior Initiative, Rohit stands at the forefront of a global movement. He exemplifies what it means to be a teacher, mentor, environmentalist, and a beacon of positive change.

Arnav

Arnav's dedication to green initiatives is truly inspiring. Being selected to take part in weekly meetings on a platform for international Green Warrior Initiatives is a powerful recognition of his dedication and fervor for sustainability. Participating in discussions about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during these meetings showcases his proactive engagement in generating innovative ideas and solutions to accomplish these important objectives. More, his daily efforts to promote sustainable practices, such as conserving electricity, align perfectly with their dedication to sustainability. Taking small steps, such as reducing electricity waste, not only contributes significantly to a more eco-friendly lifestyle but also highlights the individual's crucial role in reaching larger environmental objectives. Grinesh

Grinesh is a student in 8th grade studying at the Global Indian International School. His dedication to green initiatives is truly inspiring. He has been selected to take part in weekly meetings on a platform for the international Green Initiative. He has chosen the topic of the conservation of local wildlife, which shows his deep knowledge of nature and the environment. Conservation of local wildlife is essential for maintaining ecological balance, preserving biodiversity, and ensuring the well-being of ecosystems.

P Nainika Menon

P Nainika Menon is a sixth-grade student at Global Indian International School. She is determined to make a positive impact on the world by reducing plastic usage. To achieve this goal, she avoids plastic bags and instead reuses paper and cloth bags. Her water bottles are also non-plastic. Reducing plastic usage is crucial for mitigating environmental pollution, conserving natural resources, and protecting wildlife. Nainika presented her ideas on "Reducing Plastic" during a weekly meeting on the International Green Initiative.

Karthika

"Living a sustainable lifestyle involves making choices that minimize negative impacts on the environment, society, and future generations while promoting a healthier and more equitable world." Karthika is a Grade 6 student studying at Global Indian International School. She has glorious thoughts of a Sustainable lifestyle that she has adopted in her daily life and presented her thoughts in the weekly meeting of the International Green Initiative.

Rishi

Rishi is a seventh-grade student who attends the Global Indian International School. Living sustainably involves prioritizing a lifestyle that reduces harmful effects on the environment, society, and future generations. It requires making conscious choices to limit consumption, reduce waste, and use resources efficiently. Ultimately, living sustainably necessitates a commitment to long-term thinking and taking responsibility for our actions to ensure that we leave a better world for future generations. With this in mind, Rishi presented his sustainable lifestyle in the form of a presentation at the Weekly International Green Initiative meeting.

Varun Sai

Varun Sai is a Grade 7 student of Global Indian International School who recently participated in a weekly meeting of the International Green Initiative. The topic discussed in the meeting was sustainable traffic solutions that aim to reduce congestion, emissions, and environmental impact while improving the efficiency and safety of transportation systems.

Rohan Balaka

"Save water for the future" Rohan Balaka is a 6th-grade student at the Global Indian International School. He recently participated in the weekly meeting of the International Green Initiative, where the topic of discussion was "Save Water". During the meeting, Rohan shared his water-saving routine, which includes turning off taps and practising efficient watering techniques. He also suggested that the community should implement water conservation initiatives, such as organizing competitions for efficient irrigation practices and offering incentives for water-efficient landscaping.

Tanvi Bohra

Tanvi Bohra, a bright and dedicated student of Grade 8 at Delhi International School, in Sector 23, Dwarka, is highly concerned about the importance of forests. Tanvi believes that forests are not only essential for the survival of humans but also for the environment. She participated in a weekly meeting where she presented a well-researched and informative talk on the topic "Forests: Our Lifelines". During her presentation, she highlighted the vital role that forests play in sustaining life on Earth, such as providing oxygen, regulating the climate, and supporting biodiversity. She also discussed the various threats to our forests, including deforestation, climate change, and illegal logging. Tanvi's presentation was well received, and she received praise for her passion and dedication towards the environment.

Vivaan Shrivastava

Vivaan Shrivastava, an eighth-grader at Delhi International School in Sector-23, Dwarka, recently participated in a Green Initiative weekly meeting. During the meeting, Vivaan expressed his views on a topic, gender equality and differences. He explained how gender equality refers to providing equal rights, opportunities, and treatment to all individuals, irrespective of their gender identity or expression. Vivaan emphasized that gender equality involves challenging and dismantling the systemic barriers and discrimination that limit the full participation and empowerment of people of all genders in society. He also highlighted the fact that gender differences exist and can influence various aspects of individuals' lives, and thus, it's important to recognize and respect these differences.

Sreetama Das

Sreetama Das, an intelligent and ambitious eighth-grader from Lions Calcutta Greater Vidya Mandir, recently presented a thought at the International Green Initiative weekly meeting on the pressing issue of "The Impact of Global Warming on Sustainable Development". In her paper, she highlighted the significant and diverse impact of global warming on sustainable development. She pointed out that human activities such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation are the primary culprits behind global warming, which ultimately leads to climate change. Sreetama's paper was well-researched, informative, and highly appreciated by the audience.

Anishka Chatterjee

Anishka Chatterjee, a 9th-grade student at Lions Calcutta Greater Vidya Mandir, recently delivered a compelling PowerPoint presentation on topic of 'Climate Change'. With remarkable depth, she explored the intricate issues related to climate change, shedding light on the profound impact of the greenhouse effect and greenhouse gases. She took initiative to reduce electricity waste, contributing to an eco-friendly lifestyle.

Chiranjeev

Chiranjeev is a student at Global International School. He is currently in Grade 6. Chiranjeev is passionate about nature and is actively involved in building a community and spreading awareness related to environmental sustainability. During his weekly meetings, he shares his views on the topic and believes that protecting and preserving natural resources, ecosystems, and biodiversity is crucial for sustainable development. It involves promoting sustainable land use, conserving water resources, reducing pollution and waste, and mitigating climate change through measures such as adopting renewable energy and sustainable transportation.

Rayasam Ved Kanishq

Rayasam Ved Kanishq is a Grade 4 student young champ ready to sail his boat about sustainable development. He had young ideas and wanted to bring a positive change in the world with his small steps. He participated in Green Initiative meetings. His topic of discussion was the Conservation of local wildlife. It involves efforts to protect and preserve the diverse species of plants and animals that inhabit our planet. Wildlife conservation is crucial for maintaining ecological balance, biodiversity, and the health of ecosystems. It also has significant cultural, economic, and scientific importance.

Mehpreet

Meherpreet Kaur is an 8th-grade student at Delhi International School who has a deep love for nature. She enjoys planting new saplings to make our environment more green and beautiful. Meherpreet strongly believes in taking concrete steps to preserve our precious environment, such as using solar panels and conserving electricity wherever possible. She has already taken many such steps to protect nature and is committed to continuing to do so in the future. Recently, she presented on the topic of climate change at the Green Warrior weekly meeting.

Aayush Krishnanivas Supal

Aayush is a passionate environmentalist currently studying in the third grade at GEMS Our Own English High School, Sharjah-Boys. With a deep commitment to creating a greener Earth, he actively dedicates his time to recycling activities. His involvement extends beyond mere awareness, as he participates in campaigns and contributes significantly by collecting various recyclables like paper, aluminum cans, and electronic waste from his neighbourhood. Additionally, he participates in tree-planting activities. Aayush's curiosity about the environment drives his continuous efforts towards making a positive impact.

Shubh Mishra

Shubh, an 8th-grade student at Vidya School, is truly a remarkable individual. With an unwavering passion for the arts, he dreams of becoming an Air Force Officer. His exceptional ability in sketching and painting is truly remarkable, as evidenced by the numerous gold and silver medals he has garnered in art competitions. However, his talents extend far beyond the classroom. In his free time, he diligently refines his artistic abilities and enthusiastically participates in a wide range of sports. In addition, Shubh has been deeply engaged in various green initiatives, to make a significant impact on the environment. Shubh's drive and dedication to both his artistic pursuits and his passion for the environment truly set him apart.

Vaishnavi Upadhyay

Vaishnavi Upadhyay is a 7th-grade student currently studying at Vidya School in Gurugram, Haryana, India. She has a keen interest in exploring new things, reading, and using computers, and loves to take action for Mother Nature. Recently, she participated in a weekly meeting on Green Initiatives and delivered a fantastic presentation.

Ganesh is an eighth-grade student who is passionate about sustainable development. He has taken small steps to bring about a positive change in the world by participating in Green Initiative meetings. His topic of discussion was Green Education.

Nivedh Nair

Nivedhika Nambiar is a curious child studying in Class 3 at the School of Scholars in Wanadogri, Nagpur. She is always eager to participate in meetings and seminars related to the Green Warrior Initiative. Recently, she prepared a presentation on the topic of "Green Initiatives Taken by the School to Save Our Environment" and participated in a weekly meeting organised by CREST Green Initiatives on the subject.

Sachchit Shriyans Dash

A young mind can bring a little step of change in the world. Sachchit Shriyans Dash is an 8-year-old child who is dedicated and passionate about green growth and sustainable development. He attends every weekly meeting and participates deeply in every topic. His hobbies include reading books, playing chess, and learning about the universe. Recently, he participated in a weekly meeting and presented on topic the influence of alluvial processes on the circulation of manganese and lithium in riparian environments.

Ziyan Saif Sultan

Ziyan Saif Sultan is a young girl from India who currently lives in Saudi Arabia. She is a curious and enthusiastic learner with a passion for creating a positive impact in the world. Currently, she is studying in the 7th grade at Cyboard School in Gurgaon, where she excels in all subjects and enjoys participating in various activities. Recently, she took part in a Green Initiative aimed at raising awareness among young people about clean water and sanitation.

Eddrick Bennett

Eddrick is a 15-year-old student studying at GIIS Whitefield. He is passionate about participating in initiatives that help save our planet. He actively participates in meetings and seminars that focus on conserving natural resources, reducing pollution, promoting renewable energy, and fostering sustainable practices in various sectors such as agriculture, transportation, energy, and waste management. Recently, Eddrick delivered a presentation on the topic of solar energy in Green Initiative weekly meeting.

SUJATA BARIK

Sujata is a student of Class 7A at Vidya School in Gurugram. She has a deep passion for exploring and learning about green initiatives. Her connection with Mother Earth is strong. She is always eager to find new ways to protect the environment. Recently, she performed a presentation on the topic of paper recycling during a weekly Green Initiative meeting. Paper recycling is an essential component of sustainability efforts. It helps conserve natural resources, reduce energy consumption, and minimize waste sent to landfills.

Srinika Reddy

Srinika Reddy is a 9th-grade student at the Global Indian International School Whitefield in Bangalore. Her hobbies include reading, art, and watching movies. Gender equality is the concept of ensuring that every individual, regardless of their gender, has equal opportunities, rights, and treatment in society. She is deeply involved in promoting equality by participating in weekly meetings that focus on the topic of gender equality and bring about change in the world.

Agrish

Agrish is a Grade 3 student at K.R. Mangalam World School in Bahadurgarh. He enjoys skating and visiting mountains, and he has a strong aversion to wasting anything. Kashish

Kashish is a student in grade VII at K.R. MANGALAM WORLD SCHOOL in Bahadurgarh. He is committed to the cause of zero hunger and ensures that he never wastes food. His goal is to spread awareness about this issue and help end hunger. The primary objective of Zero Hunger is to ensure that everyone has access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food throughout the year. This involves addressing the root causes of hunger, such as poverty, inequality, conflict, and climate change. Recently, Kashish participated in a Green Initiative weekly meeting to discuss strategies for achieving zero hunger.

Lokansh bokde

Lokansh is a student in fifth grade who has recently been awarded by the International Books of Records. He has received this award for his outstanding efforts in bringing positive change to the world. During one of the weekly meetings of the Green Initiative, Lokansh delivered a presentation on the topic of environmental sustainability. This term refers to using and managing natural resources responsibly. It is done in a way that fulfils the current generation's needs without compromising the ability of future generations to fulfil their own needs.

Nivedhika Nambiar

Nivedhika Nambiar is a bright and inquisitive 3rd-grade student who is currently enrolled at the prestigious School of Scholars in Wanadogri Nagpur. She is known for her deep connection with nature and has a strong passion for environmental conservation. Nivedita has demonstrated her commitment to this cause by presenting on important topics at IGWI weekly meeting. Her presentation was centred around the "Green Initiatives Taken by Her School", which highlighted the various eco-friendly practices that the school has adopted to reduce their carbon footprint. Her second presentation focused on the urgent need to "Save the Environment", where she shared her ideas on how to protect the planet and preserve its natural resources for future generations. Nivedita is truly an inspiration to her peers and a shining example of how young minds can make a positive impact on the world.

Anuj Jha

Anuj Jha, a bright and enthusiastic student enroled in the highly reputed School of Scholars Wanadongri, has emerged as a passionate environmentalist. Despite being in the fifth grade, Anuj actively participates in weekly meetings held at the Green Initiative platform, which aims to combat the alarming level of pollution in our environment. With his unwavering commitment and dedication towards the cause, Anuj has become a shining example for his peers and a source of inspiration for everyone around him.

Aarti Hattangadi

Aarti is a bright young student studying in 9th grade at the Global Indian International School in Whitefield. Recently, she participated in a weekly meeting of the International Green Initiative platform that encourages individuals to come together to discuss ways to promote sustainable living and preserve our planet's natural resources. During the meeting, Aarti presented a well-researched topic on SDG-14 Life Under Water. She spoke passionately about the importance of preserving marine life and the impact of climate change on our oceans. This topic is particularly close to Aarti's heart as she has spent many of her childhood vacations at beaches and has developed a deep love and respect for the ocean.
